New battery for remote fob

For the key fob intermittently r remotely unlocking doors is this a simple replace the internal battery. Or do I have to recode key etc.?
 
Mine stopped working too. Didn't open the doors so I changed the battery (If I'm not mistaken you need R2032 battery for the key fob)

It still didn't work. So I had to restart the fob by putting in the ignition and turning until I heard 2 clicks and I just press the lock button for 5 seconds.

Now works again.
