Picked up the new A2 last night, exected it to be slower (heavier) but it feels faster and certainly pulls better (with only 10 miles on it) than the last one did. Am told it is a 2005 model Special Edition and not an SE (Special Equipment) - it has all the bells & whistles she wanted and is £300 cheaper - pleasant surprise when we picked it up.
Stafford Audi got most things right but forgot to change the grey mats for black and forgot to set the central locking up to lock when she drives away.
SWMBO is delighted but it is a hellishly expnsive heated drivers seat - arrived just in time for the weather!

2002 1.4 Petrol SE, silver with climate control for SWMBO (1.4 Petrol SE, Ebony Black, grey leather, heated seats, climate, opensky, five spoke alloys on order) Honda Accord Tourer 2.2 iCDTi for me.
