I would say the dent is reflection of the roof/boot corner of the car parked opposite. - AndyNice looking car. hopefully that is a trick of the light that makes the drivers door dented. So no front fogs on a s-line?
The car is Pine Green coloured indeed. I really don't know much about the history of this car, but the seller said he saved this car from the scrapyard and got it running and moving good just by replacing some bearing in the battery charger. He also changed all the oils and fixed the brakes that were worn out. He might have changed some outside parts too. The car has about 125 000 miles.Welcome aboard, always good to see new European members
Nice looking A2, is that Pine Green or was it just the way it looked in that light? We didn't get the S-line edition in the UK (although our "Sport" model is quite close) so we only see the S-line badge where someone has stuck it on to make their car look like a better model. It appears that someone has replaced the original wheels on your car at some point - good idea if those were the 17" ones as they give a harsh ride and buckle easily. Your service flap is the later one, that might also have been replaced if your car is 2002.
You might like to introduce yourself on PM to member @bretti_kivi who is a fellow countryman of yours with a lot of knowledge of A2's. Hover over his name in this post and his profile panel will come up, there is a Start Conversation link in the lower left corner.
Just a reflection. Should they all have them? I know very little about trim levels.Nice looking car. hopefully that is a trick of the light that makes the drivers door dented. So no front fogs on a s-line?
I will drive the car home later this week. Then I can give more information and take closer pictures.Hey hey welcome from me too. You have a nice looking A2 any more details are always interesting...

?Glad there is no physical dent. Do not know how the trim levels worked out in Finland, but suspect s-line was a high trim level and possibly front fogs standard at that level. I am sure your fellow countryman @bretti_kivi will be along shortly to clarify.
Check my conversations messagesi have no idea if that's an S-Line or not, as I'm sure it wasn't originally registered here like that. Where are you in this interesting country?
- Bret
In the ''worst-case'' scenario (the car not being real s-line), I will of course de badge the s-line out. Anyways I am happy about my car ?Will the chassis or VIN number provide any proof as to it being an s-line or just a badge?
