Hi Stuatr,

it looks like you put a lot of work into the new site. I do think change is good, however just a little constructive criticism from my part; i think the site has become a little muddled and hard to follow. I mean I know my way around the club but I don't know about mewcomers to the site. Hopefully you'll see this as the constructive criticism it is meant to be...I just wanted to give you a bit of feedback.

Glad someone noticed the change!

Of course I will take your suggestions on board - it is the very reason I changed it in the first place as several people told me that the old site was not very easy on the eye...and I agreed!!

Rome wasn't built in a day! I will try to make it more structured over the next few weeks. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

I think the new site looks better, just one minor thing, on the old site when the photo gallerys were updated they had a "new" symbol next to them, will you be bringing this back on the new site?

Yes - the first screen of the old site was always a maintenance nightmare, so I have split it up a little although it is now a little empty so I will be adding some info back on there tonight.

The info on the photo galleries can be found by clicking on the Images menu and selecting 'How many photos are there?'

The links from that page currently don't work, but I'll correct that tonight.

All the images pages are listed in reverse numerical order so it'll always be the most recently updated page at the top - as with the monthly photos pages listing.

Think also abouth other people, like me. I come from holland. Just keep it internatioal. Lots of information is only for the left drivers.

P.S. Lost of shops that you linking is never think about dutch people, like no prices in € or shipping cost etc.

But you do a hell of a job with this site "SUPER"

I can see your point of view - the A2OC site certainly is angled more towards UK owners, this is probably because I run this forum and A2OC site on my own and only speak English. I am aware of all the members from outside of the UK but it is very difficult for me to arrange deals and discounts in other countries unless a company approaches me...in English!

With regards to news and articles, I will always post them on the site - but am heavily reliant on these being sent to me by A2 owners around Europe. You are however wrong about the € pricing as I tend to always show both £ and € pricing in any page that I have created that shows pricing and I will continue to do so. PayPal must from my point of view be in £ as that is what my bank account is in, but I always provide links to currency converters to help those who don't know the exchange rate.

Hi stuart - any chance that forum names could be linked to owners photo pages so we can find out what each other's cars look like?

Thanks for putting my 1.2 TDi up as photo/car of month for March 2003! How about that blurred sepia coloured shot! Good one by cuz Tom Will****s eh?!

Cheers

Wow it's a good idea, but I think it may take me a while to come up with a solution...let me think about it for a bit.
