New to me FSi

Well I have bought another FSi . A 2005 model
It’s great but has a few squeaks and rattles from behind the dash ( a noisy air con fan I think ?)
A strange noise from the rear door speaker when starting up ??
I would like to find a parts manual so as I can better understand the car , can anyone help me with this as I wish to keep both cars running for as long as possible!
Thank you

You could read these two Self Study Publications as a starter.
Understanding the FSI engine is vital, if you want to keep it sweet.
And, if you haven't already, get a VAG specific scan tool. VCDS would be my choice, combined with the FSI specific, (A2OC created), lable file,
Mac.

Got that that’s great.
Now I would like to see a parts manual of the A2
Yes one of my Fsis has a warning light on ( engine management)
I could not find the scanner you recommended at the moment

There is also B&F Autos over in West Hounslow who are very knowledgable on all matters A2. Don't charge stupid money either.

Thanks Mac

You must get the engine with an EML scanned, with a VAG Specific scan tool. No point in guessing what the fault is, let alone replacing parts.
Download VCDS Lite here
Click on the "third party cable"
Buy a KKL cable on ebay for under £10. VCDS Lite can be installed on any Windows laptop XP onwards.
Limited functionality on free version, (but will tell you the reason for your EML). Register for $99 to get full functionality, (measuring blocks etc), but only for VAG vehicles upto 2005/06.
Download and install the A2OC created FSI lable file from this site.
You can download loads of stuff from Audi Erwin, for less than 10 Euros an hour. Vehicle specific based on your VIN.
Mac.
