Good result. Don't give up on the FSI though. Just do more research, MoT online history, service history etc. In my opinion, it's poor servicing, and cheap fuel that's the downfall of FSIs. Cheap fuel (derv as well as petrol) is cheap for a reason (the supermarkets are not philanthropists) they lack the additives that are present in fuels such as Shell Nitro. These additives cost millions to develop, and you pay (or not) at the pump. 50p per gallon, or £££££ at the garage? Short term savings, or long term investment. Mac.
