hello,

i am a newbie audi a2 looking person and i have seen one for £7400 51 reg 43000 miles 1.4 tdi se and looks good inside and out but the only thing i dont like is that the Climate control buttons are abit worn and i have been looking on the forums and you can buy the units but not cheap...the question i am going to ask is that in the S4 the climate control unit is the same as in the a2 would it work if i fitted?

Right-o, the simple answer is that the S4 panel will not fit or work in the A2, but the buttons can be carefully removed and transplanted onto the A2 panel.

£7400 is a little rich for a 51 TDi too - unless it is pretty well loaded with options.

i know it has climate control,electric windows and wing mirrors, side airbags but i think they where standard if i am correct?
 
The bits you list are pretty much standard on all SE models (petrol & diesel).
I'd be looking to pay between a £1000 and £1500 less that what its advertised for,based on what you have told us.
 
Well Daniel, if you live anywhere near Co.Durham/North Yorkshire, you are welcome to take a look at my 02 Sport TDI (complete with fully functioning Open Sky roof) - I'd take £6,500 ovno. It's had quite a bit spent on it including the cambelt change at 60,000 and the anti roll bar bushes. 56mpg and £35 pa road tax.

Worth a look Daniel, as you'll be looking at £300 at least for the cambelt on the one you've seen elsewhere.

OpenSky is very nice to have too.
