No aircon, no cruise, no brake lights, gloplug warning light flashing.

Don’t know if this has been posted before, so all these functions had gone off and I know the cruise and brake lights go off, and the warning light for the heater plugs flash when your pedal switch is dickie, but what I didn’t know was the aircon goes west as well, at least on mine it did, anyway it’s Sunday morn no chance of a replacement so I’ve took it off drenched it in contact cleaner and then put some ptfe spray on, checked it for continuity, all good, boxed it up again and all services restored, so it may be worthwhile keeping this in mind, if it happens on your car or maybe I just didn’t know the aircon goes off as well when that switch fails.

Paul, Yes it is , I discovered the air wasn’t working yesterday afternoon, you recall I messaged you, anyway I went out last night and on the way home I noticed the glo plug warning light flashing I also noted the cruise had gone off and the brake lights too, so this morning I took the switch out and checked and cleaned it , refitted and the aircon and the rest are back up and running, strange ! anyway one more for your diary.
 
By the way I didn’t get the chance to do the flap thing . so I presume it was to do with the brake light switch unless it was coincidence.
