Norwich - the A2 centre of the world!

That's a coincidence my A2 was first registered by the Audi dealer in Norwich. Will have to take him back to his UK birthplace !
We were aiming to have one in August and go to the Whitenoise Festival. Thats just been moved to next year, but as you know, we have a lot of space around these parts where we could meet in a socially distant way.
Im going to update the socials plan this week to reflect all the recent changes.
Glad you are staying safe

So missing this years Kimbolton show in Northamptonshire where the amazing members sparked my interest in the A2.
i wonder who they were and where they came from ?

Norwich is known for being a quirky place and there seem to be a growing number of A2's around. Over the past few weeks, I have regularly seen:

A silver one with A2 number plate and A2OC stickers, always parked near the University
A dark blue one that never seems to move from its spot outside the shops on Colman road
A very smart red colour storm
A blue one, the same colour as Mabel (may have been Jigsaw)
New kid on the block - a very well looked after light blue one

For a small city, that seems to be quite a good ratio of A2's
Also live in Norwich , have a black Tdi sport with bodykit and panoramic. Would be interested in a social meet up when normality finally returns . Good idea

Yes a Norwich meet would be good ..assuming things are back to "near" normal.
When the pubs/hotels are back up and running again will make it easier to find a suitable location.

We have boats in Stalham, so a Norwich meet would be great.

I've only actually been in to Norwich once and that was to deliver an electric outboard to a chap who lived on an 'island' (sort of) on the other side of the river from the main city. He used a dinghy to get across the river for everything: walk the dog? Take the dinghy. Catch the bus? Take the dinghy. Shopping: dinghy. And so on. He must have been 85 if he was a day and had been doing it for decades. Quite fun in the summer I imagine. Chilly winter's day, drizzle, cold wind, wet seats? Hmm, not so much.

Odd thing was though, his house literally backed onto the railway, so it wasn't much of a peaceful oasis when the trains passed. It was a nice spot though. Quirky, and that's got to be good.
