Not an owner yet, but on the hunt.

Would a Fsi be any good to you? I've been offered one in px for my silver Tdi I've got for sale at the minute but other than 132k and mint condition that's all the details I have about it at the minute. The guy was having issues sharing pics on Gumtree mail so hopefully he's going to sort some out for me tomorrow.
Thanks but probably not with that mileage. I'm sure like everyone else researching A2's for the first time I've heard that it can be a bit more problematic than the 1.4, plus you have to run it on premium petrol right? I'm looking to keep my costs down at the moment.

Although 110bhp in a car that light sounds like fun.

I like the idea of owning a Fsi as well, I've just never been brave enough to actually buy one yet. It's a pity you're planning on driving in the city a mapped Tdi is surprisingly fast for what it is.

Go for it, I’m now an FSI convert and would never go back to a TDI. I’m also 2000 miles in and have had no eml displayed for quite some time ?

The leather seats are surprisingly durable I have found. My platinum cloth seats were absolutely wrecked by my daughter but the leather I’ve got now has suffered not at all from her tender ministrations.

You could also probably swap them out if you fancied a change.
