Oil and air filter change

Hi all,
changed the oil/filter and air filter for the first time on my TDI today and considering it has low mileage with a full service history it was annoying to see some damage to the undertray done by previous monkeys. The webasto exhaust had been cut through so as the tray could be removed, one of the studs near the wheelarch just turns without unscrewing, and the air filter screws where rounded, making the whole job more time consuming.
Also noticed passenger side cill cover was cracked near jacking point-I think I know what happened there!!
Just thought to share the experience-DIY if you can.

Mike did an oil change for me recently. The same thing, screws missing etc... the car had previously only been to Audi.

Undertray damage and missing items like these are incredibly common and the 2 studs in the wheel arches are a right pain.

Glad you're sorted, but this is one reason why a lot of members come to me for work like this - they know it's going to be done properly.

Cheers,

Mike
