Hi all.
This little note to tell you that it is possible to find oil at an interesting price.
Just bought for our A2 TDI 90ps, a drum (60 liters), of Castrol Edge turbo diesel, 5W40, VW505.01, for a total amount of 340€ Taxe included and delivered to my door. I know that's an awful lot of oil, but I service my cars annually regardless of mileage and at no more than 15000Kms.
I won't say where I got it from but just to tell you that it is possible and legal. If a few could get together and buy by quantity the price of oil would drop considerably for you guys.
In the same shipment, I also received 1 drum of Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 for the A4 and the SLK. Price for that is even lower.
Looking to buy an empty drum of shell oil. Yellow drum with Shell logo on it. If anyone has one for sale, please contact me. They are used by Ferrari racing teams.
