My a2 is leaking oil, cant see where from at the moment anybody experienced similar?

Ive given stealth a call to see if they can have a look on sunday but as its rolling road day for a2oc and the corrado forum there busy and probably wont have time.

Is it worth calling out audi assist to have a look?

The car is under warranty till febuary.

If you're under warranty, use it.

My experience of Audi Assist is not good though. For more details on why, take a look at my posts on the power steering failure (the Assist man basically told me "It's f*cked - you'll have to wait about 3 hours for a tow though!")

I would pop in to a dealer instead and report the fault to them. At the very least, they'll need to remove the undertray to see where it's coming from. Have you done anything, or have the bodyshop people, that could have disturbed any pipes?

Cheers,

Mike

No, we think it may have been leaking for the last two weeks. There was some oil on the drive and i checked the car but couldnt see a leak then some one else said it was there car that leaked so we dint think about it until the oil warning came up. The bodyshop have had the car and when i collected it he said it had leaked whilst they had it.

Are audi assist obliged to give you a coutesy car till your vechile is fixed?

Cam box cover is favourite. Runs down the back of the engine, onto the sump shield and onto the deck.

Cars been in to bristol audi all day yesterday who diagnosed the fault as damaged pipe. Pipes are not covered by the approved use warranty as the car is over 5 years old.

Vince at stealth had a quick look on the rolling road day an said he thought it was the oil cooler seal. (The seal would be covered under warranty)

What i was gona do was get the car back and fit the pipe my self to save £210 labour and check they were right, but was told if i do this i have to pay £95 + VAT for a engine bay steam wash and fault find inspection.

Car now booked in for friday £210 labour £46 parts.

After 5 visits ([1] diagnose the fault [2] parts didn't arrive [3]parts still not arrived all tho was told night before they were there an to get there for 8am,Given somebody's car [4] return someones car and get courtesy car , work on our car had been started but more parts required [5] collect our car) We finally have our car back.

They knocked £20 off the bill an didn't charge us for the extra parts/ labour. They did try and get it back but saying the coolant was to weak and because of the age of the car a new battery is required
