Is Engine Oil Level Sensor failure a common fault please ? Orange / Yellow Oil Can Warning Light came on yesterday afternoon. I thought it was telling me the Oil Level was Low but on a closer look it seems to be telling me the Sensor has Failed.
Is it common for the Oil Level Sensor to then fix itself a few days later ? Did a trip with some very steep hills, both up and down. Oil Level Warning Light went out and has not come back on.
