oil prices?

where can i buy some oli for my a2 at a sensible price?

should i put the a2 oil in my mk3 golf, or won't the benefits be noticable?

Halfords sell the Castrol variable service oil in 1 litre or 4 litre packs.

I bought some variable service oil at an Audi dealer,about £12 odd, and the same at a VW dealer for £8 odd. I don't know if it was a mistake on the dealers part, but I don't think so.

do all a2's take the same oil or is it different for a2 fsi's?

how much do people find thier a2's use?

You can only get the proper oil from Halfords... Castrol SLX OW30 Long Life 2 for TDI... not sure what you need for FSI... http://www.audi.co.uk/customer/servicingoption.jsp explains what and why you should use it... you can only use normal oil in extreme emergencies and ONLY 500ml of it!!!

I bought my own from Halfords and told Audi at my first service not to supply theirs... Paid just about half of what Audi charges - something like £58 for 4 litres from them and £32 from halfords!!!! and what did the service manager tell me: he had to go to halfords the day before to buy ALL their oil as Audi had run out!
