Oil weeping a2 tdi90

The gasket you want to get should look like this one and has the 2 little bits of sealant on it.

first time used a kit that included the bolts. Second time original bolts were refitted as they looked better quality.

I was not 100% sure on the Single use bolts
That gasket does look like the one I used some years ago

Ok guys thanks. I've ordered the pump, some seals and a gasket all from buycarparts just in case I struggle . Only cost less than 10 quid on top so if I dont use them it's not an issue. Went for topran as the only brand I recognised :)

Hopefully arrives within next 2 weeks without issue. Now need to figure out how I get to tps given I'm working from home full time just now :)

Btw I'm assuming the gasket is the "L" shaped one as per link above rather than the oval shaped one I e seen in a few kits?

Yes the L shape for pump to cylinder head
The oval shaped gasket is for when you split the pump into two halves

Good luck and take heed of the warning about diesel melting the rubber pipes. Only other tip I can give you is rather than try to use the tandem to drag the fuel all the way up the now dry fuel supply line is to fit a mechanical hand pump to suck the fuel, clamp the line remove the hand pump and connect to the tandem pump. The oval rubber seals fit internally to some pumps and the loose o rings fit instead of the metal plate type gasket on LUK pumps.
Edit Paul types faster than me.;)

Thanks guys appreciate the great help. Again it has to be said this community is 2nd to none.

Saying that I'll be cursing if the rubber hoses have melted ?

From the test drive not sure it needs it
The 19” wheels look awesome just note sure about the 35 series tyres and our roads

Yep just what thought but that’s what Audi fit
19” and 9J
Wheels are mint and really suit the car so I’m hopeful that the suspension is better than the A2’s

Nice on smooth motorways but harsh on rutted or pot holed roads. Not much give before the rim takes a hammering. May be worth looking for another set of wheels even just as spares.

Agreed but it depends on the suspension

We will see in bc a few days
