Ongoing Engine Management light

I've had it a few times, the audi engineer says that its a bit sensitive, and as soon as they wipe the sensor it goes off.
This has recently happened to me.
No problems at all for 50000 miles.
The light came on when I had 2 people in the back seats and me in the front.
Not any noticeable change in the performance in the engine.
Had it serviced and it went off again, not sure what they did.
Took a heavy load down to our new house and the light immediately came on again!
I'm meeting up with other A2 owners at Duxford this weekend and would value any ideas or solutions.

Mine is coming on every month, its fine for a bit then comes on! it runs fine, no difference just the stupid light shining at me!!
Its very tempremental and i'm getting rid when i can afford to.
If any one want to buy it then give me a shout! i've spent well over 3k on it so i've basically re-built the damn thing with the amount of things gone wrong!!!!!
