Found this car for sale with a bad Perspex repair on the front of open sky!
Is this panel easily repaired?

I have one available if needed but I would not say it’s an easy job to change it.
The oss needs to come out of the car
Then be split down to replace the front section

Let me know if you want the one that I have

Cheers. Paul

Hi thanks for the information I am going to try and arrange a viewing and if the rest of the car is ok I might have a project!

I’m not to far from you. St Anne’s near blackpool if you do need it

This car has been for sale for quite a while, I gave a estimated cost for the glass replacement a few weeks ago on Facebook. I hope someone picks it up for a bargain price as it is quite a job to replace the panel.

Kleynie if one does pick up a A2 with a non working open sky - with out sounding cheeky as newbie on here what order of magnitude would the cost roughly be to get it working, so we can factor this in when buying, i assume rightly or possibly wrongly its generally the same problems you encounter?

As the roof needs to be removed it seems pointless to just change the broken panel. Whilst the roof is out it makes sense to strip, clean grease and add the repair plates to ensure it works going forwards, this service is £418.
