Paint to match hard touch buttons

Good old Lidl Matt Black as recommended by A2Steve.
Right I will be off to Lidl tomorrow to see if I can find some. I was looking in B&M today and they do have a range of plasticote, BBQ and stove black paint spray tins but I did not get any.

i like the look of that finish @2work and seems really close to the hard touch finish - the one I've got is near identical to soft touch finish - looking at both in sunlight seem to be damn near perfect match - likely due to 15 years of wear on the panel from my car.

Is there a color code? As lidl near me has car paints but they are different make(mostly gloss too), plus only seem to have primer and silver. Having a google the pictured paint is being sold on ebay from Germany - so if i can find a listing closer to home will grab a can to rattle.

Still need to do a few bits in soft touch finish and see how those fare against scratches in my car will probably go with window buttons as use those quite a bit in the summer (have hard touch buttons at the moment though - will swap out to do testing).

Given a whirl with just generic black Matt paint and it matches the color/finish for plastics under steering wheel etc. (the surround for steering wheel base what you call thing)

Not sure on variations of the black satin paints, i'd suspect the black finish on buttons etc. is not pure black and slightly grey however the finish from the first paint i got matches buttons fairly closely. I'll see if i feel like experimenting some more, next i'll probably see about getting vinyl cut outs for painting buttons to refurb however i don't see myself tackling this anytime soon (not until i get my own cutter or mate's schedule frees up who has the vinyl cutter).

Will update if i find any other matching or better matching paints, will snap a few pictures once i finish with some parts properly (will probably go occupy the bathroom for a dust free(less) environment as outside doesn't work for that).
