There is a serious problem developing with Front wishbones. I have received 2 Bugiad wishbones from a supplier which are out of spec and not useable. (the tracking is 40mm toe in with them on the car and the track rods adjusted to the minimum length.)
None of the aftermarket suppliers are carrying stock any more and I understand that Lemforder have stopped making them. I have had some on order from Highland Audi now for 2 months and Audi have been unable to supply.
My car is currently laid up .
I think maybe we need to start some kind of lobby group to contact aftermarket suppliers and try to encourage continuing supply of spares for our cars otherwise we will not be able to keep them running in the future.
 
There are some lemforder ones on eBay, they might be old stock but they are still for sale. The only thing is that they are not cheap.

Everywhere we tried on Ebay were out of stock so had to order from Audi. Although Audi have let us down on delivery twice we cannot cancel the order with them.

Pressed, and they looked identical to those which came off, but were a few mm different and that threw the steering geometry way out
 
On the same track as this one, where can I get the bushes from for the cast wishbones? Anybody got a link or similar?
Many thanks, not hijacking the thread, but it is kind of in the same area....

I know about this supplier, they are part of 'buycarparts' who supplied the incorrect Bugiad ones. They have searched their database and cannot locate any suitable wishbones to swap for the incorrect ones they have supplied, none seem to be actually in stock anywhere.
