Passat CC Seat fitted

Well at last a working set of brackets to carry the Passat CC Front Seats. These will be replaced by a pair of A5 Seats with full electric adjustment, plus heating n cooling in Smurf. Thats when I have sorted the wiring!
Now need a mirror set for the Nearside, plus a duplicate set to fit the TT Mk2 seats in Jelly. Been a long drawn out process, not helped by VAG making one runner and its hole centres 5mm longer than the other!

Seems to be symptomatic of the automotive industry. I am sure at Isuzu, they sat design teams each side of a wall, so that the engine mounting positions on their J Series engines bore no resemblance to each other!

Evening Bob,

That is new levels of comfort right there Sir, amazing effort. The switch and lever arrangement look identical to those found in my A6 C7.

Kind regards,

Tom

I am about to replace my mk1 TT seats with mk2 TTs.
Ive seen Skipton post one photo and a comment about retaining height adjustment but thats about it.

Have you got round to test fitting yours with this bracket arrangement that you mention?
Do you end up with limited front-to-back travel on the runners due to width?

The seat has been installed for some time, and has a good range of travel. However the central tunnel trim parts and inner sill trim parts are not fitted. I can't therefore guarantee that any seats will not foul on the interior trim. I hope to get the Mk2TT seats installed in Jelly fairly soon, and will then find out, and report!
