Passenger seat runners bent - advice please...

So, finally (after nearly a year) got around to fitting the Yellow leather seats only to find at some point in their history the passenger seat runner has been bent so that the seats, although you can bolt them down, you can't move it fore and aft :(
So, question is, has anybody removed the rails from the seats before? I have a few spare seats (cloth ones) so I have plenty of spares. My thinking is it would be easier to swap the bases over than re-covering. If so, is it fairly straightforward?

If anyone is fairly local and might be able to undertake this for me, I don't mind paying towards costs/fuel etc. To be honest I've invested nearly a grand into these seats so I want them to be working at least
