Hi, Can someone tell me the exact location where the large Earth tag connection is supposed to be below the passengers side headlamp? Cause it looks like I don't have one. I have an intermittent misfire and I'd thought I try this mythical creature first. Photos would be good! I...

Now just because it was clean but not clean enough does not mean it is definitely OK. These cables also tend to corrode about half way down under the insulation. You really need to test for continuity with a meter while flexing the cable. What condition was the metal in behind where this lead is connected? Nice and bright is ideal anything else is not good enough for trouble shooting.
with the corrugated outer that to me doesn't look like an original - has it been replaced previously? I worked on 2 of mine a calendar year ago and the outer was smooth, and from memory there wasn't the loop around and over back to the earth bolt that we can see running around under the aircon pipework.
