This is my final attempt to keep the forum and club alive after the end of October 2005. Please refer to the other post within this section for the history behind this one...!

I have decided to keep the final purchase price confidential to avoid the debate that would no doubt follow. However I should add that I am willing to compromise as I don't want to see the sites vanish from the web and so the final purchase price could in fact become irrelevant.

I did get an idea from an email I received from someone earlier today that would be to in effect break down the purchase pledges to fixed sums of £30 = 1 share of the club.

If we said hypothetically that 25 shares would secure the sale of the club then that means that 25 people pledging £30 each would secure the club or if someone said they would pledge to buy 2 shares then only 23 more pledges of £30 would be needed.

As I've said in my other post, please email me your pledges to [email protected] (please include your forum name in your email).

Everyone that makes a pledge will be given access to a hidden/private forum within this forum which will allow each of you to meet each other and discuss future plans and arrangements.

The cut off for pledges is the end of September so that October can be spent making the final arrangements for the transfer of the sites to the new owner(s) etc. Payments for pledges will be due early October via paypal (preferable) or cheque.

Full information of the costs involved in running both sites are detailed in the other post within this section - or if you have any specific questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Stuart.
P.S. Please note that share certificates will not be issued!! But you will be listed as a co-owner and obviously if you buy more than one share that you will have a greater ownership of the sites.
You will need to appoint a leader of sorts though so that the domain ownership and hosting is transferred into his/her name(s).
