Can anyone recommend a good TUV aproved plug in tuning gizmo? or a decent tuning firm in the NW?

Cheers,
Mark

Hi Mark, If you want to 'chip' the car, then get it mapped properly, please don't be fooled by these cheap plug in resistor types, they simply fool the ECU into thinking engine is cold, and running a richer mixture, or the like :)

Tunit tuning boxes have a good reputation - http://www.tunit.com/product/productrange.php?action=V-PD but they are almost double the cost of a remap from Stealth Racing nr Birmingham. Stealth are the most popular tuning company among A2oc members. Awesome GTI nr Manchester have a good reputation for remaps.
