Pollen filter not changed in how many decades?

I decided to check the pollen filter in the my new A2. It had an almost complete Audi main dealer history and very regularly serviced.

Here are the images of the Pollen filter and what happened when I tried to remove it.

When do you think it was last inspected or changed?

They can look pretty grubby with those popcorn remnants seemingly always been trapped in them god knows why lol after about 20k
My guess based on mine after 20k is yours has done circa 50k, got to love the dealers NOT!!
 
This filter looks like it is one of the earlier ones that uses the plastic surround frame - there are many replacement ones now that do not need this part and cannot be forced into the frame during the replacement process - they just get slotted into the filter retainer unit and pushed home before the trim part is reattached to secure in place, and the frame can be kept on a "it'll be useful one day" shelf.
