Possible battery issue???

So..... my battery is a bosch Silver S5 IIRC, and its only around a year old.

Now when turning the steering wheel my headlights dim, and if the reversing lights / brake lights are on they dim.

Is this normal?

Yeah, that's completely normal. The power steering draws a massive slug of current, particularly when the car is stationary, causing the lights to suddenly dim slightly.
