Come off the MWay last night after a 50 mile run and noticed my battery light giving a nice steady flash rate and was somewhat concerned. After a few rev changes it disappeared.
Had a look around the A2 today and pulley is sound, alternator connections seem OK, Battery connections OK. Started up & fine, tried to listen around the pulley area, possible rumble but I really can't be sure. Loaded up with lights & HRW on tick-over and still OK.
Have looked on some issues here on the forums and could just be alternator is getting tired (138K now). Welcome any input on this. Also what would one expect to pay for a pattern replacement?
