So looks like my steering rack has finally decided it’s tired and fancies a change!
while I could buy a used one I can’t risk the unknown for this and a localish company do a refurbished rack for around £130.
The challenge I have is getting the o-rings for the pipes.
assume these should be replaced? Struggling to find an online source for one of N90954601 5.7x1.78 o-ring and 2 of N01388495 which i believe are copper type washers 14 x 20.
Welcome any advice as sure these must be available elsewhere but all new to me.
Plan to inspect rack tomorrow but certainly coming from drivers side and likely to be the rack I guess but could be a leaking o-ring.
