PQ25 Console & Wishbone Swap

I’m new to A2OC and not sure how I post something to get help.
I have an Audi A2 which has recently had the front subframes replaced. In doing this work my excellent small local garage sheared a bolt on the drivers side that joins the aluminium component ringed below (this is a Polo and only for illustration) The garage is having great difficulty locating this part and I said I would put the problem out to the A2OC forum…can anyone assist in naming this part and where I might locate one??
My great little car is a September 2004 A2 TDI 90 BHP. Best Nigel Graham

Have a look at this thread

The equivalent/compatible Polo part nuumbers are in there and are readily available on eBay etc...

Been reading through this thread, really interesting!! My only concern with using a PQ25 subframe in the future is that by creating a "hybrid" car it's going to create issues for any future owners of these cars, who possibly aren't very knowledgeable or mechanically minded (and any garages they take them to to be fixed). Wonder if theres a way to formerly record/catalogue the changes so its properly passed on to next owner. Has anybody done this and had any problems with insurance?
Could always write it in service book or separate log like i do. Or paint it onto the subframe.

I keep a record of all items I change in the back of my service book, just for interest reasons mainly.
I do the same for both of my A2s. Dedicated service books with exact date, mileage part number for easy replacement in the future and cost of every single nut and bolt replaced on both cars. If I ever sell the cars whoever gets them will be very pleased with the over done service history.
