S spike Well-Known Member 20 Jul 2007 #2 Hi knocker No, I had an Audi 90 with this cable system which tensions the seatbelts in a head on accident. I think they stopped using it in the mid 1990's when airbags and explosive charge belt tensioners became popular. Cheers Spike
