Today I replaced the worn buttons on Boris’s climate control and I changed the worn passenger window switch :)

Who said FSI’s are unreliable because Boris hasn’t been started in 2 weeks and today I have just started him up and he started on the button :);)

Hopefully next week he will be going to Leicester Audi for his thermostat :)

I’m so happy to say that Boris is now 100% mechanically working YAY ?

After driving for 5 hours the problem has clearly been sorted as he doesn’t loose power and cut out :)

Clearly the exhaust was the issue :)

Next week hopefully he will be going to Leicester Audi for he’s thermostat under warranty then there’s nothing else to do except making him a showroom car as planned :)?

Big improvement :) It's amazing how much a set of wheels in decent condition does to the overall appearance of a car.

Now comes the hard part ... keeping them that way! You can't afford to go anywhere near the kerb now :D

Yes it definitely is surprising what a set of wheels can do :)

I’ve never had a chance to get next to a kerb yet as I don’t have a licence ?

Don’t worry though when I can drive on the open roads I’ll park miles away from a kerb ?

I think when you all see him at the end of year meal I think you will be very surprised how he’s come along:)

When I can drive my plans are to drive Boris At the end of July to Scotland then from Scotland to Norwich to the social if that’s still on in august then finally back home ?

my birthday is in May so hopefully I pass by the end of July ?

funny enough I was doing insurance quotes the other day and it was £1700 a year for Boris or £1697 for the year for Doris (black box but no time or mileage restrictions)

Cheap for first car insurance :)

I suppose the question should be - which one will you insure?
