Project de-chav TDI

I had them on my first A2…

Lowered -30mm springs.

What do you think peeps?
I liked them but i change my mind over wheel choice way to many times hahaha

The better pine green gets, the closer this little TDI is to becoming redundant and being sold on. One things for sure, I will definitely miss the webasto heater on these cold mornings. While all my neighbours in their new pcp cars are scraping the windscreens, i'm sat in the house finishing my breakfast while the webasto does all the hard work :)

Added some more parts to freshen up the interior.

A replacement centre vent and cupholder
Immaculate concert headunit and a very good climate panel.

An immaculate soft touch headlight switch. Fuse cover panel and a drivers dash vent.

And finished off with a replacement ASR switch and cubby tray.

In for an MOT this week and then going in for a professional valet. Will be poised ready for sale then when I’m fully happy with pine green being my daily.

Hi Steve the tray infront the gearstick oing under the ashtray, is that easy to remove? Mines loose around gear stick gaiter stopping it locating . Looks like you have one on the floor so guessed you replaced that one? 🤔

Very easy, pull up the gear gaitor from the base and then the tray lifts up and out from the back.

Perhaps there is something under the tray stopping it from fitting correctly or just not clipped it? Do you have the correct gaiter as some replacements are a bit short and they pull the gaiter off its mounting.

Evening Steve,

This interim project has come on very nicely Sir. It looks a cracking A2 which I’m sure will be enjoyed by it’s future owner. Great work and fingers crossed for the MOT.

Kind regards,

Tom

Good point it's original knob leather se though. I'll take a deeper look tomorrow and take the panel out as @A2Steve has reassured me, my fear of stripping out half the car is not warranted. Thank you
