Don't believe all you see on tv. They really are good at interiors and the bottle of touch up is as OEM as you will get, even museums use this company.

Good luck with your forthcoming exams, put your effort into those and reward yourself with your projects once you pass.

Might be worth trying Classic Car Services, they're not far from you. They did the freshen up on the Yellow seats I have. Not cheap, but they do a damn good job.

Today I washed Doris in washing up liquid to strip any old wax/polish off and then I bug and tar removed the whole car then another wash in washing up liquid and then a polish and wax now Doris is looking fresh

That's probably the exact opposite of what everyone else your age with a car is doing, and top honest it very commendable.

Yep getting window tints off is a PITA! Had to do it on both my A2’s. Stupid thing is the windows are pretty tinted anyway!!!

I removed my tints on Sunday but to get glue off I used nail polish remover less time consuming for Louis

If you use a hair dryer to heat it first then the glue comes off with the film rather than staying on the window.

I tried your way Steve but still left glue on window but nail varnish remover (don’t tell Amy I used all of it) worked a treat

Isopropyl alcohol (or isopropanol) will normally dissolve glues pretty handily - wipe it off quickly though or it will evaporate and re-deposit.

Acetone (nail varnish remover) is probably better for removing glue deposit but you’ve got to be very careful as this will melt plastic trim.

Good result with a working OSS. Put some grease in those runners with a small paint brush, but if its not been repaired already its only a matter of time until the plastic parts break.
