Nice work Steve,

Quite interested in the camera write up as it’s the next logical thing to do in Project OEM should I ever get around to it. I know there is an apparent issue with doing this with the PU units but quite sure that it’s solvable since having the custom firmware available.

I’m still playing with the idea of having the OPS page display also on the ColorMFA (Colour DIS), I don’t think I’m far off but it’s just a tinkering exercise right now.

So far I’ve already got the ColorMFA to trigger the OPS display on the RNS-E PU but not managed to get the OPS visuals on DIS itself.

Soon as I do though I’ll probably be seeking rear view camera on the RNS-E PU and OPS display on ColorMFA.

Please do keep the information flowing as it’s great to read what others have been up to. I’ve been far too quiet recently and haven’t done that much to the A2s really. Threads like this keeps the flame alight and makes me continue to see what’s possible.

Kind regards,

Tom

So today we finally got to recover the headlining, it’s by no means a perfect job and have learnt a lot about it should we ever do again. This might be redone again in the future. But the dark headlining suits the interior well

Thanks to my wife for helping too, would have been a disaster if I did on my own lol

Evening Steve,

You really are going to town on this one. Really nice to see an A2 given some real pampering. Top marks for the splendid transformation you’ve achieved so far.

This is a great thread which will inspire many members in the future. Looking forward to hopefully seeing one day at a Social.

Kind regards,

Tom

Thanks Tom, was trying to see if I could make Birmingham tomorrow night but have a full day on the drive working with my mate on a couple of jobs which would mean I can’t get up there at a reasonable time.

I’ll definitely make one soon though!

Are you going to Simply Audi by any chance?

Looks good enough for most! I personally enjoy the broom holding the tailgate on the other a2 up. Would you be inclined to write up in a how to thread or add to an existing thread on this popular renovation?

Nice, and not too dark. You'll find the back end won't be much lower on the coilovers unless your really wind the down, but they will sort out that monster truck front end :)

Thanks!

Yeah I'm happy with the ride height at the rear but agree needs leveling out! :)
