A nice warm up then some Italian tuning, drive like you stole it.Run it on 99 Ron tescos fuel , will help you with the MOT

Took the old girl for a good run this morning to the top of the mountain, a lovely winding road with a great view at the top.
What can I say, the engine is a delight. This is the engine the A2 petrols should have been fitted with from the factory.
Lots of low down torque to make driving quite effortless, silky smooth gear change and steering but then take it to the higher revs and it becomes a right animal. The sound it makes is addictive. Favourite engine I’ve had in an A2 so far and that includes the 150hp Peppa.
Not sure what the output is, but it’s much more lively than the 125hp engine in Angry Bee so I’d put it around the 140 mark.
After a very good run it went in for it’s MOT and came out with a lovely clean sheet
Will be putting her back in the garage now for a couple of weeks to fit the coilovers, A8 alloys, change some more body panels and machine polish the hell out of it.

It really surprised me mate. Over about 3500 it’s just pulls and pulls and the noise is fantastic.
I’m hoping to get it down to longlife exhausts in the next year and get a stainless system made up for it from the manifold back.

Now it’s an awesome car. Really pleased it’s turned out just right. Cannot wait to see this A2 again with its uprated and tweaked mechanical assemblies.

Excellent, I’ve got some questions for you now Steve! Lol. For a start what gearbox is it please?

The standard 1.4 box that was in the car. It’s as doing 80 in 4th quite comfortably so seems to have a longer ratio than the lupo one

The Lupo although a lovely box is very short geared. If I stick with it 18” wheels might be an option to raise the gearing. I’ll pm you to avoid boring the rest of the folks!
