Quandry- thoughts please.

What could possibly swing it for me is if your insurance agreed NOT to put it on the register, potentially raising the repaired car value
 
@Erlingtheelder In my vein to source a Dolphin Grey Front & Rear Bumper for my A2....(no luck as yet) i came across this thread, so having read it im just curious & wondered if there was a happy ending?

So sorry to hear your news. Try to not get the car on the dreaded register if you can. Looks like someone drove into you, is that the case? You might have
a reasonable case for a touch of small claims against the miscreant.

The car was repaired over a number of days, working in tandem with my father, and has done a subsequent 10k miles since it’s ‘bump’ I’m pleased to report. ? I’ll post some pictures below

Erling, thought I would rotate the pictures as I got fed up falling off my chair viewing them. Can't do anything about their size. Did they put it on the register, and improve their offer?

It’s registered as CAT N and they paid out @ £1600 minus the salvage charge. Had I not been able to source the parts seriously cheaply/zero cost and do the work myself with help from my dad id have had to bin it and start again. A broken system.
