Quirky cars?

First car I ever bought with my own money (as a student) It started my habit of buying at auctuon

2 cylinder Air cooled engine (Revved over 7000) dog clutch. Plastic boot. First import to the UK for this Mark!

Do you ever wonder what happened to the cars??

The Granada would be a one-off but there is no DVLA history, would it have been scrapped or in a collection somewhere?

Where would the hot rod taxi be right now? Interesting that it had 553,545 miles at its 2007 MOT and then presumably you modified it thereafter with an 8200cc engine?

The taxi was sold to a guy in Austria and it has just come up for sale at £41,000 (10 years after I sold it )

The Saab’s are epic, I’ve no idea why you sold the Carlsson either! A neighbour had one brand new in the late 80’s or early 90’s (and his dad had a 9000 Carlsson!), surely the 900 is undervalued in today’s market but they are only going one way.

Totally agree I bought a cheap 99 to use whilst over in Denmark and Sweden but when I left Sweden I bought a tax free Saab 9000 as Swedish car tax is extortionate but if you took advantage you got then 180% off sale price exporting it back to UK yes even rhd ..£11k fully loaded it was the eighties ..
Build quality was superb ..

Its automatic within the software. Nobody edited it. Wonder what will happen when I type Sc**thorpe ?
