May not be helpful in this case but our A2 Radio Signal failed completely while it was still under Audi New Car Warranty. A new Rear Screen had to be fitted to fix it.

Does switching on / off the heated rear window improve or make the radio reception worse. The A2 does suffer from wiring fatigue in the area where it passes from the body into the tailgate. One side or both can be effected.
