I heard about this rain X for your wind screen,
was wondering wether any one is using it and most importantly is it any good?

Cheers

Hi Ross,

I am using rain x. It is very good, it is good on the rear window. The rain beads up and runs off the screen very easily.

So thumbs up for me.

Cheers

Hi Ross

I've used rain x for several years now and find it excellent for the rear and side windows but never use it on the windscreen. To get it to bond properly you need to get the glass really clean and polish/contaminant free, I usually clean with plenty of tissue and methelated spirits then the rain x bonds well.

Cheers

Used it for years on all windows great stuff. I do remember one year me and some friends was going to a gig and my friend had smoked some funny stuff and he found it most interesting watching the water droplet going up the screen lol

It is really good, and also used it for several years.

Amazing how dry the glass can be in the wet, although I find sometimes it is not great on the front screen - mainly whendar and lights are coming towards you (winter time) as it can leave a split second smear behind the wiper.

i used to use it too, good stuff. But after seeing reviews, I'm using Halfords own brand stuff. Cheaper, not quite as good but overall cheaper. As I have to reapply more frequently because I need to use the wipers more often as I don't often get up to the required speed.

mine's renewed once every three years on the side windows, the roof and the windscreen is done twice a year. It's great stuff.

Used Aquapel someone was selling on ebay a few years back and that stuff was amazing. Barely used the wipers once the car picked up any sort of speed. But as with RainX screen needs to be as clean as you can get it upon application.

I have used this product for ages now on many cars, it's very good for side windows and rear windows. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This is a great product. I love it. Specially if truck is in front of me on a rainy day. It is only important to wipe well with microfiber at the end.

Does anyone have a solution for the rear screen below the spoiler? Mine is constantly caked in road grime - my Yeti did exactly the same, but at least there was a wiper to shift it.

I use rain x and you just have to live with it. No solution to that dead space
