Ream Bumper Indent

Hi All.

Just come back home, and I was hit slightly from behind, by a Micra.
Gladly no lights broken or anything major, just a small indentation to the rear bumper on the drivers side corner.
I would like to know if anyone had this problem solved before, and how much did it cost? Doesn't seem too expensive to think, but that's just my assumption.

All help greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

You could try gently heating the area with a hot air gun.

Certain plastics have a memory and will return to there original shape when heat is applied.

Go easy though you dont want to scorch the paint.

Drove our A2 into the garage a couple of years ago and ran it into the pedal of a bicycle parked across the front. The front bumper was dented to around an inch over a 1 x 3 inch area. Was gutted!. Next morning, most of the dent had disappeared! Beleive it or not, within 3 or 4 days, it had gone completely - just a small scuff which I managed to polish out.

Hopefully, yours will return to its original shape - although it may take a few days.

Chris
