Rear bench seat

Hi all, my problem is that I can't get the release lever to operate. I can hear loose stuff inside it when I try. I can use a couple of screwdrivers to manually push the snib up from the back and push the seat forward that way which leads me to believe it's the actual pull part. Can these be fixed/replaced? Thanks

Not aware of any fixes or repairs unfortunately. Think whole seat may have to be replaced.?

Oh dear, I thought that might be the case. Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

If you have the time and patience you may be able to reverse engineer the seat and come up with your own repair. The bench is far rarer but ask on Market. Remember to mention what trim you ideally want, or a whole interior if that is what it takes.

I'm heading to Ardrossan to pick up my father next Tuesday so if you're about I can take a look at this for you. Its possible that the mechanism has tripped and needs a bit of gentle persuasion. I'll bring gloves and a mask so we are all safe.
