Rear brake shoe wear. These look fine to me, but make a noise

Just asking for a heads up from those who know.

My nearside rear brake makes a noise when I apply the brakes. Sounds like it is worn, however I took both drums off today, and to me, all shoes look like they have good life left in them. They have worn evenly.

It does not sound like a stone, but it is certainly only on one side, and I just don't like it. Handbrake etc is all okay.

I have had to release the auto adjust to get the drums off, and have not been out since, so perhaps the nearside was just a little tight but I can't image that would be noisy (unless they were constantly on - which is not the case).

Any advice would be appreciated, as I don't want to change them unless I have good reason.

THanks

Matt
