Rear seat belt buckle holders

Reading the things you didn't know about the A2 , there is a mention of the location points in the rear frame to locate the seat belt eye s when not in use.
A great idea to stop them rattling.
But upon investigation I notice that there is an indentation in the plastic but the slot is not properly formed .
Does any one know if it is possible to knock out the indentation to take the seat belt buckle ?

Sounds like you're trying the buckle in the slot on the C-pillar trim - if so, right location, but have you tried it with the buckle turned the other way round? The black plastic end with the belt through it should bend towards the inside of the car, not towards the window.
