Rear springs and seats

Thanks Steve_c
Forgot to say rears what model of A2 are they for.
Thanks

Sorry, can't identify the specific model, and of course it may well cover more than one variant.

Your options sticker will tell you what setup you have; in particular you need to check your "weight class for rear axle."

Hi. For any folks that fitted spidan 49546 at the rear I have a query. Here is a picture of 49546 beside the spring that came out (AUDI I believe). Is the difference in length to be expected? Just checking before I fit.

The difference in the ride height won't be as much as it appears from the difference in the length of the uncompressed springs because you are replacing sports springs with standard springs which will compress more under the weight of the car. I would estimate that the ride height will only increase by 25mm...at least compared to when the sports springs were new. The old sports springs may have started to sag due to age, in which case the increase in the ride height could be more than 25mm when comparing old sports springs with new standard springs.

Interesting if I have sports springs. Mine is the total basic model without climate and with 15 alloy wheels. I’ll pop in the spidan and see how we go.
