Not long ago, I was asking about the rear view mirror mount. People here very kindly looked for one for me in their spares, but couldn't get them off the screens! Well, after going to Audi and being quoted £38.99 for the part, and then trying to be clever and going to VW only to be quoted the same, I found one on fleabay. I should add I am in no way affiliated with the seller.
I placed an order totalling £7.95 including postage thinking it was a Chinese seller and I will wait months. The picture shows a metal item, but the description says its black plastic. So I was sceptical. Well, long story short- IT ARRIVED NEXT DAY. Its metal too! And- it fits the mirror!!!!!
