Reassuring accident damage

Just browsing for a breaker on co-part and came across this.

I haven’t seen one this damaged for a while, but what impressed me was just how well the cabin structure has held up against the impact. Airbags deployed but the main cabin had remained intact. I can think of many small hatchbacks of the same era that would have been a crushed tin in this kind of impact.
 
Plaudits for crash-worthiness and airbag deployment aside, sad to see such a well kept example destroyed. My OCD was going haywire at the wheel on the rear seats, which shows just how nice an A2 it was pre-accident.
 
well the aero wiper arm is still good and the tail gate plus passenger rear door

The shell is amazingly relatively undamaged it only looks like the screen as cracked due to the impact in the lower drivers corner
Would have been totally different had this been a typical euro box small car
