Refurb Prices

Now that I have put the pepperpots on I have four of these that I no longer need and they are in dire need of a complete refurb.

Looking at refurb prices and the fact that I will not need them again would it be better just to scrap them?
I was after one this style for a spare and never managed to find one so they cannot be that popular.
Does anyone know the value of scrap alloy wheels, websites only seem to list prices per ton?

Carriage may prove a problem unless some one was local and could pick them up.
The Pepperpots cost me £36 to get them delivered.

I'm sure somebody local would like them. Seems a shame to scrap them. They are nearly as lightweight as the pepperpots if memory serves me correctly.

Tyres are all budget models, three ok with good tread and one with crazing to the sidewall so I would change it.
I will advertise them locally and see if there is any interest.
thanks all

My car has had those from new:
Ronal “5-Stern”
Part number 8Z0 601 025 M
6J X 16 H2 ET35
Weight 9,51 kg

I don’t know the weight of pepperpots, but from lugging both up and downstairs from and to my cellar, I would say 5-Sterns are significantly heavier.

Timmus reckons not many UK A2s were specced with 5-Stern alloys.

Judging by the difficulty that I had trying to find one for a spare I can believe that not many A2s were fitted with them.
