Remote Locking Problem

The A2 has recently developed a problem where if I lock remotely the indicators do not flash? The car locks but there is no visual clue that it is doing so. Tried a reset but did nothing and looked in the manual but again no joy. Anyone had this problem or know whats caused it I'd appreciate any input.

Hiya- Yes I had exactly the same problem: When I locked the indicators didn't flash but it did blink twice when I unlocked.

I took it to a local audi approved garage and they told me that if it doesn't flash it means that the alarm has not armed properly. This was confirmed but the fact that the little blinky light on top of the door flashed rapidly for 30 secs after I locked- it's supposed to settle into a slow steady blink.
The garage had to replace one of the locks for me but that has sorted it out now
