Remote locking problem

A couple days ago the mrs left the lights on all day and when she went to start the car the next day the battery didn't have enough power to turn the engine over. Battery is only 2 years old and the car unlocked as per usual for her. I then the following day last night opened the car as normal on the remote to start the car via jump leads. Car started fine and i took the car for a 30 mile run to charge it up.

When i parked up i made sure the car would start again and it performed this with gusto so all good. Left the car and pressed the remote button locking the car as per normal. This morning the car wouldn't open on the remote completely locking us out of it. I tried the second remote and it too wouldn't open the car. What could the problem be? Cheers.

Presumably you can still get into the car by using the key?

I tried opening the drivers door but nothing obvious happened - this was in a rush.

After seeing your message iv'e just tried again, this time pulling the door handle while turning the lock to the right and the door opened. The alarm went of, so i put the key in the ignition to start the car with no problem thinking this may reconfigure the remote locking? The remote locking is now working again. Did i reconfigure the remote locking?

It appears so.

I still don't understand what caused this problem? The battery was not removed all interior lights and dash were working correctly just not enough power to turn the engine over. It's strange after yesterdays long drive replenishing the battery for a key start the remote worked fine but not this morning. ?

Hi, I have problem with by remote locking. Sometimes the remote key works and sometimes dont, and when it doesn't work, I putting the key in the steering wheel lock and turning it to position 1 and removing the key from the lock will help in 50% times.
So position 1 gives no contact (the control panel lights are off - light on control panel is position 2 and position 3 is the engine starting). So I think there might be a problem with the steering wheel lock as the remote never works when the key is in the lock.

I tried this and is working, but after couple of hours or a next day remonte again not working...even I don't need to give a contact on second position, it's only enough to pit it on 1st and pull back key and it's working remonte control...sorry for bad english.

It could be a CCCU issue or an intermittent battery problem. Does the clock in the car reset also when the key fails? Is the key battery ok?

No battery is ok. I have 2 keys and when remote not working, is not working on both keys, and when I put first key in the steering wheel lock and put it out, second key also work same as first one without putting in steering wheel lock.
